Blazers make waves at Saint Joseph's College of Maine
Standish, ME - The Elms College Blazers competed in a quad meet against Husson University, Gordon Collage, and hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Blazers made their first splash in the 200-yard freestyle where First Year Joni McGillis (Katy, TX) placed second and Senior Captain Ashley Cronkhite (Lewiston, ME) touched at fifth place. McGillis achieved a NEISDA A-cut with her finish in the 200-yard freestyle and posted a season best time.
Cronkhite turned around minutes after the 200-yard freestyle and out touched the sixth place competitor from Husson University to achieve fifth place in the 50-yard freestyle. Melany Boivin (Watertown, CT) also competed in the 50-yard freestyle and posted a season best time.
After the diving break, Cronkhite captured fifth place in the 100-yard freestyle. McGillis also earned second place in the 500-yard freestyle.

UP NEXT:
-The Blazers are on the road on Friday, 1/13 traveling to New London, NH to compete against Colby-Sawyer College. The Blazers will be making a splash at 1:00 PM.
