Elms Cruises Past Corsairs and Golden Bears in Tri Meet
NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA - Senior Ashley Cronkite places in three events during todays tri meet against the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs and the Western New England Golden Bears. Cronkite finished first in the 50 freestyle and placed second in both the 50 backstroke and the 100 freestyle.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Blazers started off strong in the 50 yard backstroke where Senior Captain Ashley Cronkhite (Lewiston, MA) placed second achieving a best time and a NEISDA A-Cut. First year Joni McGillis (Katy, TX) completed in the 100 yard breast stroke. Cronkhite also captured first place in the 50 yard freestyle. After the diving break Cronkite out touched the third place finisher by .03 seconds to secure a second place finish. McGillis also earned first place in the 100 yard butterfly while making another NEISDA A-Cut time. Shortly after the 100 butterfly McGillis placed second in the 200 yard individual medley achieving her second NEUSDA A-cut of the meet.

"We learned a lot at this meet and had some good swims. Now we have a break from meets for a little bit before traveling to the Regis College Invite. GO BLAZERS!"
UP NEXT:
-The Blazers are on the road Friday, 12/2 traveling to Regis College. They will be competing in the Regis College Invite with a 5 PM start time.
