Elms College Hosts First Gaelic Football Match

CHICOPEE, Mass. - The Elms College Gaelic Football Club would host the University of Massachusetts Amherst and University of Connecticut for the first Gaelic football match at Elms College at Leary Field on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

UConn would defeat UMass six goals and ten points to six goals and five points, with a total of 28 to 23,  in the first Gaelic football match in the history of Elms College. UConn and UMass both compete in the Northeats Division of the National Collegiate Gaelic Athletic Association (NCGAA).
