All-Time Series: The all-time series between Elms College and Lesley University is tied 12-12 dating back to the first meeting during the 1999-00 season.

Last Meeting: Elms posted a 73-29 victory over Lesley on Dec. 10, 2011 earlier this season in Boston, Mass.

Setting The Scene: Elms takes the court, Saturday looking to extend its winning streak to six games. The Blazers, winners in seven of their last eight contests, snapped a seven-game losing skid against Lesley with a victory over the Lynx earlier this season.

Scouting The Lynx: Lesley enters Saturday's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) contest in search of its first win of the 2011-12 season. Emily Fleming (Medford, Mass.) and Grace Amato (Sharon, Vt.) have been the offensive leaders for the Lynx during the 2011-12 season. Fleming averages 12.0 points per game, while Amato nets 11.3 points per contest. In the first meeting with Elms this season, Fleming scored a team-high 12 points and added a team-best 13 rebounds, while Sarah Apgar (Andover, N.J.) finished with eight points and Chelsea Contre (Pomfret, Conn.) chipped in eight rebounds.

Scouting The Blazers: The Blazers enter this weekend's contest fresh off a 67-43 victory over Southern Vermont College on Jan. 24 and riding the wave of a five-game winning streak. Elms has been led by six-time NECC Rookie of the Week and three-time New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Rookie of the Week Denisha Parks (Fall River, Mass.) who is currently the league-leader in points scored (297), points per game (17.5), field goals made (116) and free throws made (65). Parks netted 20 points against Lesley in the first meeting between the sides in December.

Going For 100: Elms head coach Laura Habacker needs just one win to earn her 100th-career victory at the helm of the Blazers' women's basketball program. Coach Habacker, who spent five years coaching Clarkson University, has totaled 146 total wins in her 15 years as head coach.

Pink-Out Day: The Elms College athletics department will host its third "pink-out" event of the 2011-12 year on Saturday, January 28. The Blazers' swim teams host Regis College and Assumption College at 11:00 a.m. at Partyka Natatorium, while the men's and women's basketball teams will host Lesley with games at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. respectively. Continue to join us in promoting breast cancer awareness. During each "pink-out" event, fans are asked to help all teams involved in promoting the cause by wearing pink and donating a minimum of $1. Tee shirts will be available for $10. Together we can make a difference!
