Dudunake Named GNAC Swimmer of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – Elms College junior women's swimmer Tessa Dudunake (Northampton, Mass.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimmer of the Week as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Dudunake helped Elms to its third straight second place finish at the GNAC Championship by setting GNAC and Simmons pool records in the 50-yard breaststroke and 100-yard individual medley with times of 32.46 and 1:04.96. She also won the 100-yard breaststroke with a lifetime best mark of 1:11.95 and had a hand in the new GNAC and Simmons pool record set by the 400-yard medley relay team. Dudunake was also part of the first place 200-yard medley relay team during the two-day event. This is her first weekly accolade of the season.
