HOW IT HAPPENED
The first quarter would begin with Regis scoring in the opening minutes of play. The Pride would control the offensive pressure most of the quarter. Neither team would record a shot the remainder of the first half and Regis would hold onto their 1-0 lead in the halftime break.
The third quarter would once again see the Pride score an early goal, but they would also take one additional during the quarter. Then in the fourth quarter, both teams would see some offensive life and Elms holding strong defensively. With sophomore forward/defender Rose Lewinski (South Hadley, Mass.) taking the first shot for Elms. Regis would take four shots, but senior goaltender Kaitlyn Lynes (South Haldey, Mass.) would make three saves and the Blazer defense would record a block. Unfortunately, Elms would not be able to score and the Pride would walk away with a 2-0 conference victory.
