O'Hearn Claims Player of the Week Honors

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College sophomore defender Kylen O'Hearn (Somers, Conn.) was chosen as the New England Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday morning.

O'Hearn played a major part for the Blazers in a 1-1 week for Elms on the field. O'Hearn netted the game-winner for the Blazers in their 1-0 win at Regis in the NECC opener. Earlier in the week, in a hard-fought 3-1 loss at Western New England, Kylen provided the assist on Elms' lone tally of the day.

Elms (2-5, 1-0 NECC) will return to the pitch in a non-conference road trip to Clark (Mass.) on Tuesday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
