Women’s Volleyball Chosen Sixth in 2011 NECC Preseason Poll

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Elms College women's volleyball team was selected to finish sixth in the 2011 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Preseason Poll as announced by the league on Monday.

Voting for the preseason poll is conducted by each member head coach, including new member Regis College.

Elms is fresh off its third straight appearance in the NECC Championship tournament behind fourth-year head coach Sheila Gisbrecht and return outside hitters Stacy Croteau (Agawam, Mass.) and Jennifer Rego (Fall River, Mass.) who were each named Second Team All-NECC honors in 2010.

In addition, the Blazers will also turn to sophomore setter Ashley Fuller (Amherst, Mass.) who was named the 2010 NECC Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-NECC.
