EC Blazers Field Hockey Tabbed Sixth in GNAC Preseason Poll

CHICOPEE, MA – Following a vote amongst the league's head coaches, the Elms College field hockey team has been selected to finish sixth in the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) field hockey Preseason Poll, as announced on Monday afternoon.

When asked about competing in the GNAC and placing sixth in the preseason poll, head coach Rachel Lapar had this to say;

"As a coaching staff we are eager for this upcoming Fall 2022 season to start. We are looking to grow upon the positive, resilient, and supportive culture we have been building. Our schedule is roughly the same as last year, so we anticipate some tough opponents, resulting in tough games. We have no doubt that with the right mindset, the group that we have this year will be successful. Let's go BLAZERS!" - Rachel Lapar
