Emily Taylor completed her first year as a member of the women's cross country team in the Fall of 2011. Taylor, who recorded a collegiate personal best time of 25:42 in the women's 5-kilometer race during the season-ending New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) championship race, made improvements all throughout the season, shaving minutes and seconds off her first collegiate race time of 30:22 which she registered at the season-opening Smith College Invitational.

Why did you choose Elms College?

I chose Elms because the atmosphere and the campus fit my needs and it is close to home.

The Division III Identity encompasses the following six words: Sportsmanship, Responsibility; Comprehensive Learning, Proportion, Passion, Citizenship…which of these words means the most to you and why?

Sportsmanship because there is no "I" in team.
