DUDLEY, MA, Sept. 6, 2006 - Elms College freshman midfielder Vanessa Pare (Belchertown, MA) netted her first collegiate goal, but host Nichols College scored a goal in each half to post a 2-1 win over the Blazers in Wednesday afternoon's non-conference women's soccer game at Dudley, Massachusetts.

The Blazers trailed 1-0 nine minutes into the game before Pare struck for the equalizer in the 43^rd minute.

Senior midfielder Danielle Rousseau (Worcester, MA) tallied her second goal of the game in the 63^rd minute to provide Nichols with what stood as the game-winner.

Elms College hosts Westfield State College in its non-conference home opener on Tuesday, September 12. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
