Emily Walsh will enter her third season as a member of the Blazers' women's lacrosse program in the spring of 2012. In 15 games played during the 2011 season, Walsh netted 22 goals (second on the team) and added three assists. She has now scored 29 goals and notched five assists during her career with Elms. 

Why did you choose Elms College?

I chose Elms because of the nursing program and it's small family-like environment.

The Division III Identity encompasses the following six words: Sportsmanship, Responsibility; Comprehensive Learning, Proportion, Passion, Citizenship…which of these words means the most to you and why?

I identify with the word passion because in many aspects of life you need to have a passion for what you're doing, whether it's a career or a sport.

I don't have one.

What is your favorite school subject?

Science and math.

I am part Spanish.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself as a nurse in a children's hospital making a difference.
