Position: Outside Hitter, Opposite Hitter

Major: Communication Sciences and Disorders

Kordel Latimer will enter his first full season as a member of the men's volleyball program in the spring of 2012. Latimer saw his first collegiate volleyball action in the Blazers' final contest of the 2011 season against Johnson & Wales University and recorded an assisted block, helping pace Elms to a 3-1 victory to close out the season.

Why did you choose Elms College?

Having always lived in the eastern part of Massachusetts, I wanted to venture to a different part of the state and visit somewhere new. Elms also has a great CSD department!

The Division III Identity encompasses the following six words: Sportsmanship, Responsibility; Comprehensive Learning, Proportion, Passion, Citizenship…which of these words means the most to you and why?

Comprehensive Learning because I am always trying to learn and seek knowledge to better myself in the game and in life.
