Ryan Sullivan
Elms College junior men's soccer player Ryan Sullivan (Agawam, Mass.) was named this week's male student athlete spotlight.
An accounting major at Elms, Sullivan completed his third season as a member of the Blazers' men's soccer program in the fall of 2010.
Sullivan currently ranks second on Elms' all-time saves list with 274 through his first three seasons between the pipes. In 2010, Sullivan notched a single-season best 107 saves including a 12-save effort on two ocassions and recorded 10 saves in three games during the campaign. He also helped the Blazers notch a pair of shutout wins including a 1-0 victory over Mount Ida College and a 10-0 decision over Wheelock College. Sullivan finished his junior season with a .713 save percentage.

My favorite sports moment was when the Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 2004.
Who has been your biggest influence in sports and why:
My biggest influence has been my grandfather because he always inspired me to be the best I could be.
Why did you choose to attend Elms College:
Where is your favorite place to travel and why:
My favorite place to travel to is Boston. I love the Red Sox.
Where is the one place you would like to travel to in the future and why:
I'd like to travel to Ireland because I'm Irish.

My favorite movie is Coach Carter because it is an
inspirational movie.
