Andre French is entering his second season as a member of the men's basketball program after suffering a season-ending injury before his sophomore season. In his debut campaign, French played in 26 games and averaged 5.7 points per game as a freshman. In the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Championship title game against Becker College, French was 6 of 6 from the floor including a staggering 5 for 5 from beyond the arc to net a game-high 18 points and earn the tournament's most valuable player award.

Why did you choose Elms College?

I chose Elms because it is a beautiful school and seemed like the perfect school to better myself.

The Division III Identity encompasses the following six words: Sportsmanship, Responsibility; Comprehensive Learning, Proportion, Passion, Citizenship…which of these words means the most to you and why?

Responsibility and passion because being responsible can carry you a very long way in all aspects of life not just athletics. Being passionate about what you do can make big dreams a reality.
