Henry Fall
Elms College freshman golfer Henry Fall (Harpswell, Maine) was selected as this month's male student athlete spotlight.
Fall, a pre-medicine major at Elms, recently completed his first season as a member of the men's golf program.
Fall competed in a total of 16 rounds during the 2010-11 season and was named Second Team All-New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) during the fall of 2010 and earned individual medalist honors. Fall's low round of the season was 72 - a mark he hit three times in the fall portion of the Blazers' schedule. Fall registered 15 of his 16 rounds in the 70s and averaged a score of 75.5 during the course of his debut campaign to help lead the team to a total of eight invitational wins including all three Blazers Invitationals at Westover Golf Course in Granby, Mass.
Briefly describe your favorite sports moment (playing or as a fan):
My favorite sports moment was winning the Maine State Junior Championship in 2009.
Who has been your biggest influence outside of sports and why:
Bill Henderson has been my biggest influence because of his passion for life and love of the game.
Why did you choose to attend Elms College:
Where is your favorite place to travel and why:
My favorite place to travel to is Jamaica because of the lifestyle.
Where is the one place you would like to travel to in the future and why:
I'd like to travel to Arizona and/or Nevada because of the golf out there.
What is your favorite sports book or movie:
My favorite movie is Coach Carter.
