Perks Named NAC Rookie of the Week

PERKS NAMED NORTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

CHICOPEE, MA, Sept. 17, 2007 - Elms College freshman midfielder Denise Perks (Blackstone, MA) was named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week on Monday, September 17.

Perks netted her first two collegiate goals to help lift the Blazers to their first win of the year with a 4-0 shutout at Regis last Thursday.

The Blazers return to non-conference play at Smith on Wednesday, September 19. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
