Elms College freshman baseball player Anthony Pagano (Cranston, R.I.) was selected as this week's male student athlete spotlight.
Pagano, an accounting major at Elms, is in his first year as a member of the Blazers' baseball program.
Pagano has played in 11 games so far this season with eight starts, primarily as a second baseman, and has registered a .258 batting average. For the season, he has eight hits, two doubles, four runs batted in, five walks and is 1 for 1 in stolen base attempts.
