Andrew Kravontka
Elms College junior baseball player Andrew Kravontka
(Manchester, Conn.) was selected as this week's male
student athlete spotlight.
Kravontka, a professional studies major at Elms, is entering his second season as a member of the Blazers' baseball program.
In his first season with Elms' baseball squad, Kravontka saw action in 25 of 32 games and made 20 starts in the infield for the Blazers. Kravontka collected 16 hits, scored 14 runs and amassed a .907 fielding percentage during the 2010 season. He also legged out a triple and drove in four runs last season.
Briefly describe your favorite sports moment (playing or as a fan):
My favorite sports moment was playing in the Junior College World Series.
Who has been your biggest influence in sports and why:
My dad because he is my biggest supporter and is always there for me.

My favorite place to travel to is Bermuda.

My favorite movie is Rudy because it is a motivational underdog story.
