Athletics Department Announces Alumni Events For 2010-11

CHICOPEE, Mass. - The Elms College athletics department recently announced its scheduled alumni events for 2010-11, highlighted by Homecoming weekend from Oct. 1-2.

Listed below are the dates of the alumni events in 2010-11

2010

Saturday, October 2

- Men's Soccer Join us for a barbecue at 2:30 p.m. before the men's game at 3:00 p.m. against New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) rival Lesley University at Leary Field.

- Men and Women's Volleyball Come watch the women's match at 4:00 p.m. against Mount Ida College and join members of the current men and women's teams for dinner following the contest at Picknelly Arena.

- Baseball Take part in a Blazer alumni game from 5-7:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Stadium in Holyoke, Mass. Food will be provided at the field. 

Sunday, October 3

- Field Hockey Join the festivities on Sunday with alumni field hockey at 10:30 a.m. at Leary Field. 

Saturday, October 23

- Men's Golf Hit the links with the Elms College Ryder Cup alumni event at Westover Golf Course. 

Saturday, December 11

- Women's Basketball Return to Picknelly Arena for an alumni game, lunch and Blazers basketball against Lesley University in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) opener. 

2011

Saturday, January 22

- Men and Women's Swimming Come join the Blazers at Partyka Natatorium with an alumni gathering following Elms' tri-meet against Norwich University and Gordon College at 12:00 p.m. Food will be served. 

Saturday, February 5

- Men's Basketball Come back to campus and join the men's basketball team for an alumni game at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch and the team's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) contest against Mitchell College at 4:00 p.m. at Picknelly Arena.
